Default opinions please

I recently had a little too much free time and added a few touches to my SRT.

I added:

- Black vinyl to the wheels, just to make them look different from stock
- dark grey metallic vinyl to lower panels with thin silver accent stripe
- 1/4" chrome trim around rear tailignts
- Side emitting LED driving lights under headlights

any opinions pro or con appreciated

I don't care for the LEDs under the headlights.

But the rest is totally:

Boilerupxfire still has the nicest looking crossfire I've seen - but yours is a close second.

I did the same thing about a year ago to my wheels to see how they would look powder coated. I used electrical tape. Still have a second set of wheels that I haven't made a dissision on.
The LEDs on front I like!
I am not sure what to think about the tail lights. If they were real metel I think they would be kinda cool.
But as I said Front is a deffinite YES.

Love the wheels! they really do your eyes in.The lower grey panels are very effective, especially the rear.

I like the vinyl around the bottom alot, but the wheels and chrome look a little out of place.

I like all of it, except for the chrome around the taillights. I'd tend more towards making them blend it better by putting tint on the lenses, as opposed to making them pop out of the body with the chrome trim.

Really like the vinyl. Mid-door accent seems to get lost in the shine. Agree with fading the tail lights rather than popping them. Good work over all!

Very creative with the wheels, it's inspired me to try something similar on my Limited, won't look as good though.

I was going to do the chrome thing on the rear lights, it seems to be a real craze at the moment, but after I saw boilerupxfire's car I realised they must be tinted - especially on a black car, but I'm now thinking of tinting mine all red, for the Bentley GT effect.

The lower vinyl works, but if you had the mopar rear diffusers in place - colored to match I think it would finish the job.

Very nice car!

ditto what Joliet said. Especially about the chrome around the tails. For some reason it looks more Buick-y than it needs to be.

I put black 1/4" tape on my NA wheels and it looks good, I may even take them in to be powdered because I like them well enough that way, and your srt wheel look great that way. I like the gray striping around the lower fascia too. Good job

I like everything but the tailight trim, and the door protection molding (though your's blend in nicely).
About a year ago I asked "Tdannar" to do a photoshop of a 78 Corvette lower body stripe, and I think the rear view is what "Black03AR" was talking about.

I love seeing how people "personalize" their cars. It just adds another demension to what is already a work of art.
Nice job Greg.

Nice job Greg.
y'know AMX, i didn't realize how much the Cross resembled the AMX until I saw your photoshop. And adding the Corvette striping was cool, and in ever deciding if I'd go some form of tu-tone on my Alabaster I am pretty sure I'd match the silver of the NA trim with how it's applied like your photoshop. i think it looks great.

thanks all for your input.

I added the body side moulding to cover a large ding
in the drivers door. I'm not crazy about it but I'd rather look at it than the ding
plus it will protect it for the future (although I'm very careful when I park - I think
it happened at a local shop where I had a state inspection when I first got it.

I think I'll can the chrome around the tailights and keep the rest until I get tired
of it and/or come up with some other ideas.
