opinions please
I recently had a little too much free time and added a few touches to my SRT.
I added:
- Black vinyl to the wheels, just to make them look different from stock
- dark grey metallic vinyl to lower panels with thin silver accent stripe
- 1/4" chrome trim around rear tailignts
- Side emitting LED driving lights under headlights
any opinions pro or con appreciated

Re: opinions please
I did the same thing about a year ago to my wheels to see how they would look powder coated. I used electrical tape. Still have a second set of wheels that I haven't made a dissision on.
The LEDs on front I like!
I am not sure what to think about the tail lights. If they were real metel I think they would be kinda cool.
But as I said Front is a deffinite YES.

Very creative with the wheels, it's inspired me to try something similar on my Limited, won't look as good though.
I was going to do the chrome thing on the rear lights, it seems to be a real craze at the moment, but after I saw boilerupxfire's car I realised they must be tinted - especially on a black car, but I'm now thinking of tinting mine all red, for the Bentley GT effect.
The lower vinyl works, but if you had the mopar rear diffusers in place - colored to match I think it would finish the job.
Very nice car!

I put black 1/4" tape on my NA wheels and it looks good, I may even take them in to be powdered because I like them well enough that way, and your srt wheel look great that way. I like the gray striping around the lower fascia too. Good job

Re: opinions please
I like everything but the tailight trim, and the door protection molding (though your's blend in nicely).
About a year ago I asked "Tdannar" to do a photoshop of a 78 Corvette lower body stripe, and I think the rear view is what "Black03AR" was talking about.

I love seeing how people "personalize" their cars. It just adds another demension to what is already a work of art.
Nice job Greg.

Re: opinions please
thanks all for your input.
I added the body side moulding to cover a large ding
in the drivers door. I'm not crazy about it but I'd rather look at it than the ding
plus it will protect it for the future (although I'm very careful when I park - I think
it happened at a local shop where I had a state inspection when I first got it.
I think I'll can the chrome around the tailights and keep the rest until I get tired
of it and/or come up with some other ideas.
