A little too soon for me to commit. I need to see farm show dates for August from my company. But, if I am free that weekend, I will get registered and get the parking taken care of. I should know in the next month or so. The company has added more farm shows throughout the summer months as we have grown so much. I swear, I'm working more hours now than the old job...lol.

Gary, Thanks for putting me on the list. I'm definitely going and my sister Becky will be joining us again this year in her Prowler.

Even though my Crossfire is gone, I still am planning on going to Woodward this year, but with a different vehicle. Could/Should I still book with the group? I assume my SLK350 will kinda "blend" but I may be driving something more vintage this year. I have a 1967 El Camino that I will probably taking. Also, I know of someone else that may be going as well with a 1960s vehicle, can they also book with the group? (assuming I still can of course)

I see no problem with that and I can add rooms closer to the event if they are still available
In the past years we didn't fulfill the room block that we had reserved anyway
Be sure to mail in a parking form with $40 for each vehicle you plan to bring into Memorial Park
Groups will be parked as they arrive on Saturday even if the group has a few different cars

Couple quick local updates:

1 - The Chrysler Museum is reopening to the public on select weekends beginning April 23/24. If they're open Dream Cruise weekend, it's well worth a visit. I was there last week for a Hagerty Insurance presentation and snapped the below pic of one of my favorite Mopars from the 70's.

2 - The Northwood Shopping Center (SW corner of 13/WW) is closing this year. Tenants have to be out by July 1st with demolition to be completed by year end. Not sure how this will impact the Chrysler exhibit in the Center's parking lot, but we've lost our cozy brunch/lunch spot, Leo's Coney Island.

Looks like the Chrysler Museum will be open Fri-Sun of Dream Cruise weekend from 10-6 each day. If enough folks are interested, maybe Sunday @10 would be a good time for us to head over as a group. It's directly across I-75 from the Courtyard Marriott, approx 5 minute drive.

I would like to ask a favor if any Canadians are coming for the Woodward event.

While in the hospital, my father-n-law was telling me about several coins he saw while visiting Canada a few years back. He wanted to save a couple to bring home but ended up spending them before he left. After searching around the internet, it appears they may have been $2 coins or more. They have two colors, or metals used. Similar to my attachment for an example. Are these coins common in your country?

I would like to get some for him. I would gladly pay you for them while at Woodward. Maybe as many as 10 different ones in good condition if they are available.

You can post here or prefer PM.

Thanks, James

Those coins are in common circulation, we call them toonies, they replaced the two dollar bill. They got the name from the one dollar coin that has a loon on, which was given the name loonie.
The five dollar bill is the smallest paper (plastic) currency we have, we do take donations of any paper US currency.
I forgot to mention that the one cent coin was dropped entirely, prices at the cash register are rounded up or down to th nearest five cents.
As Beaner mentions below most bills are now printed on plastic not paper, you can see through them.
