I want to start planning to attend . . . I note that information in the first two posts needs to be updated with attendees (last update in April?) and links . . . Dan??
TMS sign-in $40/car if you pre-registration: Link coming or $50/car if you pay at the Speedway
The group discount with Motel 6 is TBD

My brother and his family are in the Dallas area so we would be visiting them too. Also plan a couple of days in Eureka Springs AR and Branson MO (to do a few of the things we missed during CAA#6). Then over to Fontana Village for the 10th Annual Tail of the Dragon meet. Overall trip would be September 21st to October 5th. That seems like it would work. Hey Doc, It looks like I'd be less than an hour from your home so we might have to invite ourselves in for a "cold one" (or two or three) on the way over to Eureka Springs . . . Just to wash down the dust from the DFT you know . . .

That's pretty much the plan . . . I'm coming up with 3,425 miles. Nothing is in stone yet except to attend the Fall Tail of the Dragon.

Please note that TMS changed the date of the event after I started this thread. The date is now September 17th. I've asked Valk to change the date in the thread title.

Ok, I am going to be there, I can't bring my car (and I sure wish I could) - but I WILL be there. I'm going to fly in on Thursday and fly home Sunday. I will be staying in the Irving / Fort Worth-Alliance Airport area - not necessarily at the Motel 6 as I can get a FREE room at Hilton Properties.
Those of you on Facebook know that I may be moving to Irving, Texas in the not-all-too-distant future and this would be a good way to connect with locals and learn what I can about a place that MIGHT be home to me some day.
I just wish I could take the time to bring the car.... I cant' see that happening if I am going to also go see my kids this holiday season.
