Ok I fixed the attendance list.

As many of you know, I have started a new job, I'm working LONG hours and have limited time for Dragon and CAA8 planning. Thanks to those who have stepped up to help with both events, including you who have volunteered to lead groups. Several of our regular leaders can't make it so if you offer, you are very likely going to lead!

Now PLEASE UNDERSTAND that if you call me to tell me you can't get a room cause they are full, that I can do NOTHING about it. I'm not being snotty, its just that some of you don't realize the number of last minute cries for a room I get - and THIS time, we know ahead of time that the lodge will be booked!

 

My room is officially booked, arriving Thursday, leaving Sunday.

SPRING DRAGON UPDATE: Back last fall, I applied for a new position with the company. I went' from "Systems Technician" in Systems Sales to "Field Applications Engineer" in R&D.

It has been a good and challenging change for me. BUT, it also means that I must attend IWCE in March. This means that I will be missing the Spring Dragon - first time since my heart trouble in 2014.

Charlie, John and Thorn will be running the show in my absence. I WILL attend Fall and CAA8. THINK OF ME, every time you climb Hellbender Hill!

The leaders left in charge are fully capable though !!!

 

With all the CRAP I give people about making it to the Dragon - here I go missing it.


I think that "Karma" just got me.

 

You'll enjoy the conference though. It is a good one. And the locale isn't all that bad - Las Vegas!!!

 

He'd better not come back married, his best bet is to stay at the tables that would be cheaper in the end. No pun intended.

 

Mark, my name is still on the list but i an unable to make it as well, can't do CAA8 and fall and spring . Please take my name off the list when you get a chance. First one i have missed since i bought the car.

 

Mark. As you are aware, I cannot make the Spring Dragon. I've opted to go to the CAA8 ( my first time)..So please remove my name from the list of attendees.. I will , however will be attending the Fall Dragon...Thanks...Carl

Attention All Spring Fontana Attendees.
Joyce and Lars just released our room reservation at the Lodge for the Spring 2017. We have decided to skip the Spring gathering and rejoin the group for the Fall of 2017 event. We had the lower level room facing the parking lot, last one at the end of the hall on the right. Great room, walk right out to the parking lot. I think it was room 203. Call and reserve it if it interests you.

 

And in related news, it looks like I may show up Friday evening in time for the 9pm meeting.
I cant say for sure, but the plans for IWCE are shaping up to look like I can flee the scene Friday morning.

THey still have open rooms? 'Cause I now really think I can make it by 11pm Friday. My flight lands in Atlanta at 4:50pm. I hate to drive that much of the way in the dark, but if I'm going, I have no choice.

 

Show us coming for our first Tail of the Dragon event David and Mary Leonard, Charlotte, NC. We made reservations today arriving on Thursday and leaving on Sunday. Got the last room in the main building.
