But that may be what others are experiencing, the carpet glue, not the lotions.
Anyone replace their rugs recently?
Maybe an after market replacement vs OEM rug odor index would be interesting comparison.
Cheers!

I get that "melted crayon" smell when I run the vents/AC. I was thinking of changing the cabin filter.

Did a trip from Florida to Texas and left the car parked for a couple of weeks I noticed the same musty odour. It went away on the 24 hour drive from Texas to Ontario Canada. A earlier post suggested condensation in the A/C system if you drive with the top down and A/C on. I drove with the top up and the A/C on for the whole trip and the odour went away. The earlier post suggested you turn the blower up and A/C off when the top is down.
Probably good advise.

My .02 cents worth on the smell. I had the identical smell in my old 80's BMW 320is and have 2 of the Xfires with the same smell. I was told long ago that it was "horsehair"??..used to stuff the seats and used in the sound deadening material under the carpeting. Don't know how true this is, but its what I once heard and I thought I would share it with yall...peace
