can the roadster do 150 mph?
can the roadster do 150 mph?
i know the coupe is aerodynamically capable of 150 mph but the roadster came out after so when the chrysler engineers said it could it could but i dont think they re engineered roadster to do the same they were probably on an island vacationing when the roadster came out and theres no way they would go through the whole process again i dont know if anyone can enlighten me on this subject it would be greatly appreciated.

Yes, at about 158 where it seemed a governor or limiter kicked in, I have since had the ECU remapped and understand the limiter was removed!
By the way that was with the top up, I don't know if or what kind of drag the top down would cause so maybe I should..

Not a problem. I have been @ 163 with my SRT roadster and 155 with my daughter's SRT. Mine was confirmed with the GPS. I wasn't there very long and this was after LET's ECU tune and after the 181 pulley was installed..
I have been over 150 quite a few times with mine, pre and post tune. Usually done at 6:30- 7am on Sunday morning on the Turnpike (8 lane) on the way to the golf course. Smooth as you can possibly imagine. A bit noisy though. There is a nice stretch where you crest an overpass and can see a fseveral miles ahead. There usually is not any traffic at that time. I am very cautious. Done only when clear of traffic and dry. Tires are new and Z rated Bridgestones.
I think you could basically kiss your a%% goodbye if you hit something on the road or blew a tire.

But at least you'd be kissing it with the biggest smile of your life..!

I did my 150 on a stretch of higway that when you get up to speed you have about 3 miles of speed window. So that equates to not much time at that speed but was rock solid. Top down does however gets you all the wind noise that you can expect so don't think too hard about listening to the radio.
