Default panic alarm sounds like an old man...

my panic alarm on my chrysler crossfire sounds more like a coughing old man hackin up something gross, constantly clearing his throught. then the beep it should sound like. i do have the max care extended warranty and i am sure that the dealer could fix this. but interestingly enough the dealer said he has never seen this problem before.

it didnt bother me that much but i was wondering if anyone else has had this problem and what kind of solution (i.e. new siren, new module, loose wire) was determined.
thanks a lot!

I have never used the panic button, But I do know the alarm is ear piercing.

There is an old thread about the panic alarm, Try the search button then type in panic alarm.
