Eurocharged Tune + Remote Flashing Cable - $265!!
Re: Eurocharged Tune + Remote Flashing Cable - $265!!
Holy crap guys, I just got my remote tune done and man, I accidentally did a half donut just trying to pull out of my driveway!
Needless to say one of the things tuned was the pedal sensitivity
I was embarrassed (kids playing around and parents watching) but I was all smiles a few moments later. My 32 is stock right now, and I knew there was going to be a difference but I didn't expect it to be that much
Took 30 minutes start to finish, painless remote procedure.
Customer service is top notch, in line with everyone else's positive comments.
I look forward to my mods and then getting a new retune in the near future!
Thanks Clint and Jerry!

What they do is remote control your laptop using Logmein.com. Then when they are ready to start, they blank out your screen so that you can't see what they are doing. They obviously run a custom application that is windows based which does the reprogramming while the screen is blanked out on your end.
So they get the app onto your computer, install it, run it, update your ECU, then uninstall all traces of it, then give you back control of your laptop.
So you will need a computer that can execute windows code. A Mac running a windows emulator that is running Logmein.com can do it, I don't see why it can't.

Re: Eurocharged Tune + Remote Flashing Cable - $265!!
Ive got pretty much the same question that Michael M had but I think it might have been missed.
I just got my 05 limited this week and for the moment its all stock. Will a tune benefit me in the now, or should I wait until after I make some basic upgrades such as the intake and exhaust?
Its one of those things that , "Do i grab the deal now, or wait"? The tune IS something on my list to do, just curious about the order of doing it. Then again, if re-flashes are available after purchase, would my concerns really matter? Suggestions? Thanks!

Re: Eurocharged Tune + Remote Flashing Cable - $265!!
Shadablade,
I sort of moved to the same thread in the Canada "subforum." According to several, and eventually from Jake at Eurocharged, the unmodified Crossfire does indeed benefit, and the retunes are at no additional cost if modifications are done later. All this and a slight improvement in fuel mileage!
My cable is on the way.
Michael

Jerry @eurocharged performance:
Don't know if you are back yet from having baby. Not a big deal on this, but installed 74mm TB, seems to run ok, did Throttle reset. Seems to idle kind of fast (900rpm), before was about 600rpm. No check engine light, no missing, etc. Ran it through the gears to about 6 grand. checked for vac leaks, made sure the twin vac line was plugged in properly and can't hear any vac leaks either.

Hey call Jerry, he might just let you in anyway. all he wants to do is sell Eurocharged Performance services. His e-mail is : jerry@eurocharged.com
If he can't do it, put together another group of 3-5 guys that want the same thing, he will work with you.
