I think they have all dried up unless you find a total with that part on it. I am looking for an access door to the fog lts....and I think they have dried up as well

Looks like someone finally wised up and reproduced them. I can tell you that the Mopar pieces were textured plastic, not fiberglass, as I have installed a set. The set advertised looks like the originals, and the price doesn't seem too outrageous, so I'd say go for it. Or like Doc said, look for a totaled car with them(good luck!).

I believe there was a previous thread on these. Apparently they fit poorly.

Yep.. read that thread .. and the vendor was nice enough to refund and take back. Don't know if they have improved on the fitment.

Do the diffusers make a difference in areodynamics?

Really....I kind of like the looks of the car without them. But of course, to each his own.

Are they really just for looks?

Yes, they do.

But only at speeds of 180+ MPH.

Just kiddin'. I have no idea. I did not notice any difference, even with the 15 BHP they added.

Just kidding...

No drain holes! 5 mounting holes in each diffuser,...but 3 are 5/16 and 2 are 1/4???? Now they give you (10) plastic push (phillips) anchors that fit only the 5/16 holes...brilliant!! Minor modification on my part and all will be well! Get the pics a.s.a.p.

I got my car with the diffusers in the trunk unpainted. Not sure why anyone would bother putting them on. It would cover/hide the tow hook in the back right area and not sure what benefit they do.

And... you still have them? And would like to sell them to me?

Speaking of the tow hook - any idea what it is rated? I looked in the manual and didn't see it anywhere. Thanks.

p.s. I like the car w/o the diffusers myself, more aggressive looking.

Well..you should sell them to Rayth then, as he'll bother with putting them on! Btw the tow hook isn't hidden/covered with them installed! Enjoy your xfire
