no it just stopped working

i got in one day and the light was flashing so just assumed there was a spoiler problem.
it wasnt till i read through a few posts on here that said if the light is flashing AND the roof doesnt work it must be the sensor on the boot latch not telling the comp it was not shut .
that is when i tried the roof and it didnt work so changed the complete latch mech but is still the same

The mechanic tried to get codes? I get codes from my car with a regular OBDII scanner, has he tried one of them?
Codes are there for a reason - to help you diagnose a problem.

Your OBDII scanner reads Crossfire specific codes.. I must acquire one of these! Mine only reads engine specific OBDII compliant codes.

all fixed now ,
had to bite the bullet and take to chrysler for diagnostics
should have done from the start really
diagnostics and fixed all in the hr so only paid for 1 hrs labour

turns out it was the switch on the motor stuck .
they freed it up and all is working as it should again
so a nice cheap fix for the summer motoring for the misses lol

Congratulations! Could you take a few pictures of the previously stuck switch and post them here, so that future readers can benefit from your experience?

Did the Chrysler dealer tell you which codes they read?
