Default Advice for upgrades

Hi everybody,
I am fairly new to the site and a fairly new crossfire owner. I have a 06 roadster that is completely stock. I would like to boost the horsepower and still maintain good mpg. I have thought about adding Needwings CAI, cooler plugs, a Eurocharged tune, and maybe a borla or magnaflow exhaust. Not for sure about the exhaust yet. May be too loud for the roadster. Anyway I would love to hear suggestions from the group.
Thanks
DarcyD

+ on the CAI and EC tune
- on the colder plugs, not needed

other suggestions : 74 mm throttle body ( do this before the EC tune )

as to exhaust, nothing there for additional HP, just whatever floats yer boat sound-wise.
I have the OBX catback ( Chinese Borla ripoff ) and I'm happy with that on my roadster.

ALL of them have a drone noise, including the OEM.
It's the level of drone, and if it does or doesn't get in a harmonic with some other noise that counts.
The OBX Racing cat-back has a resonator in line before the final muffler ( like the SRT6 has ) that seems to tame it somewhat. There are videos of when I installed it :

I have been reading other posts and have another question. When I get the 74mm throttle body, shout I also get another MAF elbow and housing or use the OEM elbow and housing.
Thanks

Oem Elbow... clearing the vanes out doesn't hurt.. and the larger housing basically let's you take full advantage of wide open throttle.

the one below at car-guts.com looks pretty good.
give them a call and make sure that A 113 141 0125 is the part number on the black cover.

here is the tutorial : https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...ade-guide.html

It's there DarcyD..go to the website listed by Mrmiata...I did this mod and it worked great...I did use the OEM MAF housing with the 74MM body and it works fine...I can feel the extra "pull" during acceleration ...good look....Carl
