Any idea of total cost yet??
Bob - Gotcha on the list as lucky #7. Cost is approx $650 (includes shipping to CA) depending on £ to $ exchange rate at the time of purchase.

Hi Harbor, sorry, I will have to wait until tomorrow before I can finalize the decision on a new top. I just got word from the wife 5 minutes ago that she wants me to trade in the xfire for a new vette. I will be heading to the chevy dealer in a bit. I will try to see what the dealers will take the xfore for with the top as is before I can finalize the decision for a new top. I assume they will lowball me for a bad top and I'll probably get a nickle for the car and end up having to get a replacement top anyways. But I will confirm back tomorrow after I visit the dealers..

I think it'd be cheaper in the long run if Hman kept the Srt6, got a new C7 and kept his current wife, rather than looking for a new one.

Especially if the new C7 is 'given' to his wife?

You guys are a hoot

I wish I have an SRT6, but I just have a Limited Roadster.

No, the wife does not like sports cars, so the new C7 is not for her. She loves her Sienna though
She knows that I have been eyeing a C7 and has been trying to convince me to buy one for myself for while. Been eyeing the new C7 Grand Sport since they were announced and might just do it..

What I really like, is just to keep the Crossfire as well, but running out of garage space...

Its raining right now in Houston, so can't drive the Crossfire to the dealer at the moment.

Well, I went ahead and pulled the trigger on a new C7. Was going to trade the XF in but the wife said why don't I just keep it and start a collection.

I will try the 3M window weld first to see if that will hold the glass. If not I'll join the group buy for a new window. The window weld will be here In a couple of days so I will let you know in a couple of days if it works or not.

Thanks.

Yea, you better keep her, you'll need someone to drive the Crossfire to come pick you up when that $100,000 Chevy thing goes belly up.

Hi harbor, I am able to successfully re-glue the glass back onto the top. It seems ot be holding very well, so I will pass on the group buy for now.

Thanks,

Dillin

Oh! Oh!
This is where the excuses for not going through with the deal start appearing.
Looks like a great deal to me. So good in fact That I am tempted to get one for my coupe.
