You might want to get to MIR sooner, because theres usually a beast of a line to get in. They rent helmets at the track too. I rented one last time for I believe $15.00 for the day.

Guys I had my own party today and still smiling ear to ear. Everyone have a great time and be safe. Leave it at the track, don't need anyone getting crazy on the way home. Bring that money home. I wish I could be there. Maybe next year. Blue Go STEELERS.

Really? That's good to know about the Helmet. I got hold of one that is a little small, so it may be worth the $15.00. It doesn't really matter though. I fit in the car with about 2 inches of headroom to spare, so add a helmet to that, and we have an "interesting" situation.
The last couple of times I've been to MIR, there hasn't been much of a line to get in. I guess the last time I was there for test and tune was about this time last year. I've been a couple time this year for different events...
I'm leaving my house at 7:00, so that should put me there at 9:15-9:30ish.

Great times. What did you think of the new tune that was offered to those who bought it today?

Thanks MD I needed that. What was the DA? It probably was around 2000-2500 if it was that hot. 1 tenth from my pass and your at MIR!!! I'm more stoked now. 10.90 on nos is just freaking awesome. I have a new date for you. You will have to represent the SRT6 crowd, that will easily have over a couple of million dollars worth of cars. November 15, 2008 the big boys over at mbworld.org will be renting MIR for the big dog shootout. Your are definately our BIG DOG, whoot whoot.... I think it's a hundred dollars to race, I'll chip in for your entry fee.
You and Rob represented big time, and your still right. The 178mm pulley is king. Glad the rest hit respectable numbers. How far did you go in the Gambler?

I had a great time with you guys today! It was a pleasure meeting everyone
I ran decent. We installed the new mani's before I made a pass. Unfortunately, I didn't pick up anything today with them. Not sure what the deal is, but the car may just need some more time with them to settle in? Also, I found out my LET tune was reset back to stock somehow?! No clue how that could have happened. When we went to make the tune, it apparently had the newest software installed and Jerry didn't have the update for his system. Congrats to rob and jeff for those great times!!! I lost 2nd round of the gamblers. I slowed over a tenth. I was .058 to his .010 and it was ugly at the stripe. LOL

Hmm? Did the car feel stronger with them on? Was it because your tune got erased? If I spend 1200 on something it better produce the results as advertised.

it's very possible it was the tune. I felt no difference with them on at the track. It felt stronger when I got home though. We will see! Maybe it just needs to break in?

Thanks, more info on this mbworld.org thing please!...I am happy with my time considering how the temp's were. Forecast was low 70's, they were wrong ( 86 @ 2:00 p.m.). My previous best was 10.84 on nitrous, so I came close to my personal best, on all motor I beat my personal best by .02 with nitrous spark plugs at .030 gap and two steps colder! So if the gaps were normal and spark plugs were only one step colder I would have went faster. But it was fun anyway! And did I mention these were some really cool people to hang out with!

Did anyone break low 12's with the Code 3 pulley???? I would like to know what the best set up was on this day? Cause from what im gathering the 178 pulley is the way to go? OR? I would like to purchase a pulley in the next few days but waited till this was all said and done. Please give me a list of mods that were safe hp levels and most consistent in the low 12's....
thanks, Marc
