Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
Bought My 05 SRT-6 Roadster today: 1C3AN75N25X054082 Graphite Gray 72,500 miles if you are keepng track..
Only modification I can see is a Blaupunkt MP56 St. louis headunit.
Been wanting one of these since I first saw one in a showroom in 2005.
I see its listed in the database already. Per DMV records and carfax I am the 3rd registered owner of this SRT-6.

Your forum name has been added to the existing line. There was no history of a previous forum member owning this specific SRT6. Enjoy your SRT6, I've owned mine since April 2006, great performance car. The forum will provide you with a wealth of knowledge, just remember to use the search button to search for anything....

I've had my Black Crossfire Coupe for three days had looked for perfect car for more than a year only 13,273 miles 1C3AN79N15X049854. Took it to local Chrysler Dealer for oil change they all thought it was new.

Thanks for adding your VIN# to the list and welcome to the forum. Even though it has low miles, unless you have some proof the oil was changed with 0W40 Mobil, I would change the oil and use either a Mann fleece filter or an OEM Mercedes filter. If a non Mercedes dealer changed the oil, I would be suspicious of the oil type, as well as the filter. This forum has about 95% of the information listed in the database, just need to use the search button to find it.
Good luck with the SRT6 and enjoy your ride.....

Re: Newbie Registration of your SRT6 VIN#
SRT6TC - I'll second that recommendation I've had my SRT6 for a week, the dealer I purchased it from put 0-20 quaker state in it (according to the sticker in the windshield). I changed it on Saturday, with 0-40 Mobil 1 and a purolator classic L25277 (if you open the package you should find a Mann fleece filter inside). My local Advance Auto store sells this filter for 12.99.
I was glad I changed the oil there was a cheap Korean paper filter in the car and the oil looked nasty for a supposed 2-300 miles on it.
BETTER SAFE THAN SORRY!
Enjoy your Crossfire!

I'm a newbie Bought my roadster in December 2012 Join the forum last week still trying to learn how to navigate around Do you need The whole vin#Or just a part of it Also seem to have developed With the intercooler pump Is there a way of telling if it's the relay or the pump itself

Welcome to the forum, the number you supplied was enough, since it was already on the listing, so I added your forum name to the line. It will appear at the next time I post the update, later this month.
There is a search button at the header, type in intercooler pump or intercooler failure and hit enter and this will give you a listing of many threads on the subject. When the failure takes place, the cutting out of the supercharger when the engine is fully warmed up and will have a feel of a total loss of power. These cars encounter this issue after 20,000-40,000 miles. This is a $100 Bosch part that can be found on line or at Advanced Auto Parts, make sure its a Bosch part, not a Chinese version.
Good Luck!
