And 8t only runs with one seat in it. And sorry Boost monkey they did all of the work on the car they didn't "build" it by definition however they did all of the work on the car. So I just called it the build. However they are willing to do a fully forged motor custom and custom tranny with a bigger blower.
your right G G did have a 125 shot. my mistake , oh! his car was full weight. jim

Wow! On stock injectors too. Just freaking outstanding! Don't be shy about sharing. Were not all purists here, just the extreme minority.

Well first off Happy Thanksgiving! I hope the weather holds out this weekend so I can test some more. And shy there's none of that here. This is a tough v6 it has more potential then most would give it credit. And no there's no bigger blower yet... RRT SAID they would do all of that however there's a cost involved. This motor absolutely needs a bigger blower it could make so much more hp. And Sure Amx1397 you and me would have to run but by then I'd most likely have a 175 shot and it would have to be in the spring. And yes stock injectors and thanks I'll hope for low 10s! Haha I want Rob to release a bigger blower I'd buy it and then get a pulley setup for the car. And paddle shifters sounds amazing. Maybe one day for me!

thanks, BTW you know I am working on two diffs for the crossfire 1 is a 346 with wavetrac, that is the largest gear set we have found that will fit into our diff housing. and 2 is a Ford 9" so we can run any that Ford or aftermarket makes for the 9" housing.

Jim how would these help exactly I know the higher the gear the better it is but wouldn't a ford 9" just improve 1/4 times my car already gets out of the hold hard it will pull a 1.4 60 ft wouldn't we sacrifice top end for the launch with a bigger gear ?

no because we have the transmission for it,, right now you are either at the end of 3 gear or the beginning of 4th,
and you are around 4500 rpm.
now change your gears to say 4.10,, as your left front wheel lifts off the ground you may be around a 1.39 60' and now you are on the high side of 4th gear which is 1to1 (not over drive) with out any other change your 10.9 time would be around 10.7 or 10.6 @ 130 to 133. I went from a 3.07 running 10.83 to a 3.27 and dropped to 10.70 and 10.65,,,,, 60' went from 1.72 to 1.59. with nos out of hole i can a 1.3 60' if track conditions and tires. jim

P S. 2.27 comes in the limited ,so it is a good street gear,,the 3.46 i ran on the street it was freakish leaving a red light, it was a nice gear for the street also,, highway not bad ,don't remember the rpm at 80now we are trying to set it up with a wave trac.

Shucks that sounds amazing Jim get that 346 with wave track perfected and I'll be ready to buy whenever. I think these gears with a 150 shot and headers will net me a low 10 second v6 car and if a bigger blower ever is released maybe high 9s!

NO I AM NOT running nos,, and yes if i were i would be in the 9's the thing is , i am 73 ,been on a drag strip for 60 years building my own motors ( my car as a v6 had 319 1/4 mile runs mat a track, as a v8 i have 402 runs down the track with out a single problem, add nos , have problems will come,, to have a 10 second street car is what i wanted ,(go back and read all the v8 post) and on top of that my wife drives my car to the grocery store, alot, she likes the power, and btw, if you do go faster than i , then yes nos and into the 9's just to show you i can,,LOL.. jim

PS in 1969 i set the world record in i think it was G-stock with a 1968 AMX, Only held it for 21 hours a try-power corvette took it away from me the next day .. also ran(one run only) a amc rail ,, 8.93 @ 157mph no nos on either.
have you posted on dragtimes yet we need u there to show how the world what a crossfire is and how it runs.

Well it was your times that made me go this route and idk if my car will break anytime soon she's not a daily driver I have another vehicle that I use I street race aswell for $$. And I'll be ti your times soon enough. Hopefully I don't think anybody has gone 10s with a 100 shot yet and the car is on stock injectors it was pretty easy. However I may get the motor fully built all custom and get sleeved aswell as a built 5 speed auto and if Rob ever makes a bigger blower I wouldn't mind donating my car to him to get that bad boy on there.

All NA Crossfire's have a 3.27 open rear end.
What was your best time without NOS? It amazes me what these cars can do.
