well I have tried the vin decoder in tools but it does not recognize my vin at all 
.
can we shed any light on this ?

I would like to see a picture of the VIN# from the driver's door or the one located at the top of the dash (drivers side), visible from the windshield.
A typical VIN# for a RHD SRT6 Coupe would be: 1 C 3 A P 7 9 N 0 6X068321
1=Country of Origin
C=Chrysler
3=Passenger car
A=Restraint system
P=RHD, N=LHD
7=SRT
5=Roadster; 9=Coupe
N=Supercharge
0=Security Verification
6=Model Year, not registration year
X=Osnabuck Germany, manufacturing location
068321= your serial number
This detail provides you with the actual VIN# that should appear on your RHD SRT6. I need to see a picture of your VIN# on your car.

The larger sticker appears to be different from any other manufacturing info sticker, my sticker has much more detail, including a bar code that can be scanned. It lists the manufacturer as Wilhelm Karmann, not the country of Germany, as yours indicates.

WTF , Yes i have All the original ducumentation from delivery to now. This car has never been "written off" or even involved in any accidents! .
I think your jumping straight in and accusing me of having a 'stolen or written off' car because you don't recognize the VIN is a bit rich. How many 2006 SRT-6 VINs have you seen? That would be none because the 79 made were all RHD. You might have had the courtesy to check with Chrysler before offering your 'opinion', also RHD VIN stickers are different to LHD ones, we have checked. It's your car, you can do the investigation with Chrysler, beginning at your Chrysler dealership!
By maintaining the SRT6 database, the only data I find is the info listed: the last 5 numbers of the VIN#, Coupe or Roadster and the color. NO other information is collected nor asked for to have data added to the listing.
As to your VIN# label, it is completely different from those found in the USA.
VIN#'s have been altered in the past, my apology to you.

Considering that the info is offshore for a US-based VIN checker, If we get a couple more confirmations from UK and OZ SRT-6 owners, If they were MY shoes, I would lobby Dennis The Menace for a complete retraction (and deletion) of his unintentional/uninformed remarks.

I have no real knowledge of how foreign countries record VIN's. I would think they would have different requirements than that of the US. We already know that some manufactured cars that would be considered 2005's here in the states are in fact labeled 2006's in other countries. So that discrepancy is there. Hell, I'm surprised those numbers aren't upside down coming from where I live....just sayin'.....

Here is another UK SRT6 VIN label that is the same as yours and totally legit. Obviously not all countries have the same requirements for VIN labeling.
