I recently had a auto body shop replace my rims with a supposedly m original wheel on the front 18 inch SRT rims however they seem to be manufactured differently as the machine faces are not prevalent and the clear coat appears to be different as well as the overall aesthetic look of the new Rim appears to be more bubbly them to sharp beautiful lions of The Originals. Should it look identical to the ones produced in 2005 on the SRT? Using speech to text, sorry for any discrepancies
My concern is that they remanufactured or repaired the rim and told me that it was a new "oem"

They should look the same, srt-6's were only made for 05 until 06 with the bulk being built in 05. Pictures would help, the only thing I can think of is maybe a crappy recondition job on the new wheel.
FWIW - There is a rim design for the Special Edition Crossfire that is similar but different to the SRT-6 version. Webs between spokes were painted a metallic gray with clearcoat. Those rims were available up thru the 2007 model year. Maybe the 2008, but I'm not sure about that. But your description doesn't seem to indicate that version being installed.

Except for the Special Edition with the gray between the spokes all of the SRT wheels have the same finish. It sounds most likely that they are reconditioned wheels that are not done to original OEM standards.
Just a thought, I think the markings on the inside of the rim would tell you if they are OEM. And if they have the same markings as OEM, then I would consider them reconditioned.
I have been down this road before , the original manufacture of the wheels machine the outside face of them which caused the circular marks in the aluminum . I had some wheels reconditioned and they were done the same way as OEM and came out perfect. The wheel in the picture you provided does not look like it has been machined but maybe painted to appear machined. I hope that makes sense. Keystone reconditioned two wheels that I had, they first strip the wheel , painted The entire face of the wheel silver and then machined the front spokes and lip of the wheel on a CNC machine then powder coated a clearcoat to finish it. They came out great. If you're not happy with it, I would ask them to get you a wheel that is identical to OEM. There's several vendors out there that can provide you with an OEM finished wheel.
