Smile cooling fan

Please excuse me im a rookie to the crossfire only picked one up yesterday.
My cooling fan comes on ok just seems to come on really early before the engine seems that hot.
Does anyone know approx when the fan should come on in relative to where the needle is on the scale shown on the dash ?

I think it will always come on if you A/C is on.

Cheers for your reply...
It comes on even if the A/C isn't on

Odd. Mine (and most) wont come on until the water jacket gets to 218F (that is just over halfway between Cold and Hot on the gauge).

A couple reason maybe the cooling fan module is messing up. Possiably the coolant temp sensor is messing up. You could have a large ammount of air in your cooling system which would be messing with the coolant temp sensor.

Wink Re: cooling fan

Mine comes on temporarily just above mid way on the scale with or without A?C/C. Is you compliant with the recall on the cooling fan?
