Exclamation PO715 & PO730!!! Transmission speed sensor

Has anyone dealt with these code before? I wonder if simply replacing the Auto Trans Valve Body Electrical Plate W0133-1847632 will solve the limp mode and transmission code problems?

If anyone can help me out, I would really appreciate it.

I just had the same problem(P0715). So I did as suggested on the Forum and had the conductor plate replaced. I picked the car up on Tuesday and knock on wood its working good.

Since you gotta pull the pan to change the conductor plate, it makes no sense to put the old fluid back in.
NEW FILTER and NEW FLUID !!!!!

Solution :
Borrow a TCM from someone in south Florida and see if that's it.
If not, do the conductor plate DIY, that's cheaper anyway.

I bought it at 100k and i dont know if they changed the transmission oil but i also see people having this problem at just 36k or less than 80k when the tranny oil needs to be changed.

Weird problem this car developed.

Thanks for the advice anyway i kinda dont have anybody to borrow one but im gonna go with oil and connecter plate i think regardless if they didnt do it before im juss gonna go ahead..

So here is my dumb question. Are the sensors on the plate? Or separate from it? Meaning if you change the conductor
plate does that change the sensors also? (Not the TCM, but sensors)Or are those totally separate creatures?
Mine has been acting up this week. No CEL but not wanting to engage I gear and sometimes autostick works
and sometimes not. On first use of car each time it gets up to about 4000 rpm but only up to 40. And then after
putting in park and going again it may be fine but jerky changes. I checked the TCM looks pretty, clean, and dry but I
did the dielectric grease anyway. Took it to the transmission shop today to check the fluid and he got it to
pull a code of P0715. Of course he wants to replace a sensor at $450 so I gotta figure it out on these forums!
Lol

Eta: ok, I think I found the answer. Seems the sensors ARE on the plate....agreed?

Yes, there are two of them, and they are on the plate.

I think so thats what everybody seems to be saying on the forum. To just change the conductor plate and tranny fluid. But others are saying they have changed the tcm.

When i called the dealer and gave them the po715 code they said it was the valve body, but thats why i came to the forum.

They were asking for 1,600 for that part.

But i also have read here on the forum from others that they have changed the conductor plate and still have the same problem.

soooo.......????????? Can anybody who has had this problem kindly provide or suggest a solution they did.

Thank you

How many miles does your crossfire have by the way? It could be that were not changing our tranny fluid on time but if thats the case, someone posted they were having the same limp mode problem with their srt at just 33k

Mine only has 28,000! But it was a showroom car for 2 years. And I have read
On here that sitting can be just as bad. Think about it, it only had 20 miles on it
When purchased. That is a long time for the engine to sit with no fluids circulating.
