Default Testing Interest: Front Spoiler Lip

Happy Saturday everyone!

I stumbled upon an old idea the other day and did some investigating, and wanted to see if anyone would be interested. I saw the Cupra R front lip fitted to a Crossfire and did some searching to try and find the item. Unfortunately, pretty much every vendor in the US is on backorder/out of stock. Even those with reasonable prices are charging crazy amounts of money for shipping (given the package would be 5 feet long). Well I think I can do it better and wanted to see if anyone actually cared enough for me to get these from Europe and offer them to the Crossfire community.

Take a look through this thread, https://www.crossfireforum.org/forum...-phat-lip.html, to see pictures and what is involved in mounting the lip as there needs to be cuts made to tailor it.

(Note that the vendor in that thread, OEMplus still lets you go through with a backorder for the lip but shipping cost more than the price they have the item for!)

If there are 10 people who are interested and willing to commit, I should be able to get them shipped to your door for $100. If there is interest, I would probably do a group buy with $50 deposit and then remaining balance due when they arrive in the US. Also, once I have them in hand I can get quotes for possible hydrodipping for a Carbon Fiber finish- let me know if there would be interest in that as well.

Let me know what you guys think. If no one really cares, so be it, just thought it might be nice to have a viable option for the NA for significantly less than the cost of an SRT-6 bumper. Also, this might be a nice addition to an SRT6 bumper if you aren't worried about ground clearance...

Special thanks to MrMiata for setting me on the right path after I thought I had found a brand new item, not realizing it was someone on our forum who had already pioneered it!

What's needed here is contacts with someone that does fairly large imports from there.. piggy back in on a shipment!

Yeah I was thinking that may be a cause as well... forum volume drops off quite a bit in the winter?

Shouldn't that be: "FART-CAN-TUNE"?

I'd be interested, but would that be $100 shipped to my door in Canada? Or only to the US.

Hey, I kind of abandoned this as there wasn't much interest.. if it were to happen though, I'm assuming shipping to Canada would be extra
