Interesting...I can't imagine GM delivering cars to OK that DON"T have the DRL, just because that's the law there...wonder if there is any way to turn them off on those Corvettes and Firebirds, for example...

So, just so I understand: What's the procedure for using existing fog lamps as DRLs? Probably can do that in Texas...specific instructions with photos and parts used/needed would be great!

Actually one guy that was stopped.. they were his DRL's (fogs) on a factory setup. He was told he needs to get that fixed.. LOL. Guessing the laws reguarding them really need to be updated. But still doesn't change the fact if they want to be **** they have a "reason" to pull you over. I'm sure with a court date and time missed from work you could beat it in court.

Factory fog lights can be turned off. It is illegal to run fogs and headlights at the same in Oklahoma and probably other states as well. They can push the issue if they need a reason to pull you over. I have been once, years ago, but still drive with them daily and no issues.

I plan on running a set of projector fogs in mine. I like the look better than the square factory fogs. Why would they use square when headlights are round? Just doesnt look right IMO. I will run them off of the switch inside just to be sure of no future issues.

Has any one tried installing universal fog lights by adapting the openings where the lights are located? Probably a no-no for crossfire purists like myself.
