Default Faulty rear spoiler...

I hope I have posted this in the right place....... Basically my rear spoiler has been faulty pretty much from day one of onership. It basically pops out asoon as you start driving & will not go back down until you switch the engine off & back on & hold the button down on the dash until it's all the way in. It did however work perfectly fine for about 1 week & was deploying at 62mph & going back down once the speed had been reduced to about 40mph. I am guessing a wheel speed sensoror perhaps a dodgy connection somewhere. Any help is very much appreciated.

How old is your battery? Sometimes an older battery can make the spoiler do strange things.
If it's much more than 3 years old you may need a new one. Has your car been sitting for a long period of time? That can shorten the batterys life as well.
Good Luck

Hi,

I have no idea how old the battery is as I have only owned the car for coming up 2 months. Since owning the car, I have driven it every single day & done almost 2k miles in that time & never had any issues with it struggling to start or anything. I will definately look into the battery thing though because I am determined to fix this.
