Default Trunk lights

The OEM light looses more than half its light because it has no reflector, as a result the area behind the trim panel is brighter than inside the hatch area.
Anyone who replaced their license plate lights with LEDs could use their old license plate lights in the trunk and wire them up as shown here.

My car can be converted back to the original straight from the factory condition. I save all the OEM parts as I did with my old NA, I sold it with all the OEM equipment in the trunk except for the cup holder. As a result I now have two perfect condition cup holders.
I nearly cut the OEM trunk light plug out until bluecoupe stopped me.
