Default Crossfire Instrument Cluster-Removal??

Hello;

On my cluster, the fuel indicator section of the gage cluster is dim. On all my past vehicles, this has been a simple removal of the cluster, removal of the bulb, and reverse the process having installed a new bulb.

How, can anyone tell me, do I remove the Crossfire's instrument cluster without breaking it? Does the surrounding bezel come off revealing a few screws that need undoing .... or?

I also assume (?) that there actually IS a bulb to replace - like, for example, in my Ford Explorer.

I have read about members changing the colours of their panel, but I need to know how to remove it to begin with!

Thanks,
Bobba Fett

This is a crazy-old thread but did you find a solution to remove the bezel? I'd like to pop mine off and re-coat/repaint it.

Here is the point: the poster is no longer on this site.
Try this next time:
1) Click his user name,
2) Then click "view public profile" - and observe the date of last activity.
You will see, that user left the site in 2017, so you won' t get an answer to your question.

To learn how to remove the instrument panel, search "SKREEM", I say this, because you must remove the instrument panel in order to get to the SKREEM.

Nice lecture. If you clicked on my profile, you'd see I've been on here for 18 years. If I wanted to ask a question of a single user, I would simply DMed him/her.
