Cracked headlight lens?
Cracked headlight lens?
Bought my Crossfire in April, it came with a cracked passenger side lamp lens, as well as a chipped away driver side tail light. I figured that these being the only apparent defects they must have either a tough or expensive repair method.
Will the entire headlight/tail light assembly need to be replaced, or is there a more efficient trick to it? If complete replacement is necessary, where's the best place to go? I've seen plenty of driver side headlights on eBay, but passenger side lamps seem to be a bit more scarce. And the price scares me
I apologize in advance if this has been asked before, I'm new to the forum and haven't done much browsing.

Re: Cracked headlight lens?
First off, welcome to the forum! I'm pretty certain that you will have to replace the headlight for best results. The tricky thing will be to find a headlight that doesn't cost an arm and a leg (as you probably have already seen). You may want to send a message to MrMopar to see if there is a tail light assembly available from him. If nothing else, you can post on the "Want to Buy" section to see if someone may have one for sale.

Re: Cracked headlight lens?
If you come up dry in your search, I have a passenger side unit that was slightly damaged in shipment.
The 2 lower mounting tabs were broken, I repaired them with epoxy and it should be serviceable.
The lens has been refurbished, and the inside cleaned with methanol.
I'll take $150 + shipping.
