Default Thinking of overhauling headlights

So I'm looking at getting yellow HID fog lights for my 06 XF and I began thinking about overhauling all my lights with HID. But I have some concerns like if the Hi and Low Beam HID lights put of more or less heat than the stock lights? Also, if anyone who has HID lights for their headlights have had any issues with the wiring or sensor lights being triggered?

I changed out my lamps to HID and got no codes but you'd be wise to get the brightest 1's you can as the lower spectrum or upper are not as bright as the stock headlights. 5800-6000 is about the brightest "white" light output. Blue is around 8k and goes up from there.

leave the high beams alone, HID's are not recommended as they take too long to reach max bright, and switching them on/off frequently is not good.
I put 4300k 3five Morimoto's in my lows and am quite satisfied.
I am not affiliated, but these are good people : ( get the CanBus version )

I bought the $28 specials off of ebay and they work just fine, no light out indicator unless one fails to ignite properly. I got the 8K bulbs and kinda regret it. The blue is very cool looking but I do get slightly reduced light output, although they are still better than halogens. Go with 6K if you want a slit blue tint but still have great visibility.
