condensation in headlight

Default condensation in headlight

I have recently purchased a 2005 crossfire...which I love!!! I have noticed that the driver's side headlight has some condensation in it Upon inspection I noticed that the rubber gasket around the light in not fully under the hood and the side panel...I was wondering if I had to replace the whole headlight assembly or can I just loosen the light and push the gasket in place!! I have called a mechanic and am going to take it by there so he can look at it but he has said that I probably have to replace the whole assembly!!

You can probably push the gasket in place, but that is most likely not the problem.
The problem is that the original OEM headlight vents ALLOW condensation to build, you need to install the upgrade kit available from dealers.
To fix the already present condensation, you have to remove the headlight units and follow the advise here :

Thank you so much for the advice and the part #!!! Will definitely call the dealer today and get the kit!!!
