NEW LED guide for the cars - March 2015
Re: NEW LED guide for the cars - March 2015
But I guess that even with the canbus version for the brake lights and reverse it will still triggers the lights out on dash? Nobody has yet found a compatible reverse and brake led? Is that correct?
I've read so many posts about high beam lights.. So many different opinions on what to put there.. I believe that a halogen is the only way to go for now, but what brand of halogen?? That is the million dollar question.. I want one that would be of similar color as the hid light I will be installing in the fogs and lows... Which type do you think are as white as possible for the highs? What are you running?

According to the list at the start of this post it states that the turn signal is also non canbus? Is this correct? Brake lights non canbus but the reverse lights states that it is canbus.. Now I'm confused Adrian.. Can you clarify this please.. Thanks
Re: NEW LED guide for the cars - March 2015
White halogen bulbs means they are pushing the max lumen a halogen can push, which means short lifespan.
My advice, if you want to go with something decent, would be to get 65watt osram H7 bulbs for the high beams. Or just stick to 55watt bulbs and leave the high beams be.
HIDs in the high beams are fine too, but just remember to leave the high beams on for at least 2 minutes if you do turn them on. Fast flicking on/off isn't a good idea for bulb and ballast health.

Thanks Adrian,
Ya I might just leave the high beams be for now and deal with those later once I put in the hid in the lows and fogs.
I was looking at the list at the start of the thread and it states that the reverse lights are canbus? Is this correct.. And that the turns are not canbus.
You said that your reverse were not? Can you clarify on these please. Thanks
Also what is the eyebrow light? Is there an led for that one in the list or is it just called something else on that list?
I was wondering if it is possible to find clear front and rear marker light covers. Instead of the read and yellow plastic. That way when lights are off the clear color would go well with my white car. And when the lights would be on the red and Amber led would give out the appropriate marker color..
Any thoughts?
