Les Paul,

Makes a guy wish he had bought one of those autographed guitars last year.
The man is a legend for sure.

Patrick Swayze proves it: Millions of dollars and fame will not solve all of life's problems.

Gone at 57 - and his money and fame didn't do a damn thing for him. We are all equal in the hands of cancer. (Of course, he had what has to the one of the top two worse cancers - the other being bone cancer.)

In every interview I saw of him, I liked him. Can't say that for most Hollwood types.

This one flew under the radar. Henry Gibson, a famous cast member of Rowan and Martin's Laugh-In, past away on the 16th.

And yesterday Mary Travers of " Peter, Paul and Mary "

For you a little younger

Mary Travers, one-third of the 1960s folk trio Peter, Paul and Mary who helped popularize the work of Bob Dylan and sang hits such as "Puff (The Magic Dragon)," has died, aged 72, after battling leukemia.

I know it is in bad taste and a little late, but I just came across the thread.

We had three people die, and just leave it to Billy Mays to THROW IN ONE MORE ABSOLUTELY FREE....

No, THAT isn't in bad taste, but THIS IS:

So, Farrah shows up at the Pearly Gates. St. Peter looks up, smiles, and says "Hold on for a moment, ma'am."

He picks up a cell phone, hits a button and says to the person on the other end, "Yeah, she's here," and hangs up.

Seconds later, God himself pops down from the clouds and reaches to shake her hand.

"Hi! I just wanted to say, I've always been a big fan. I still have the swimsuit poster. You know, I don't usually do this, but for you I will grant you one wish."

Farrah thinks for a moment and then says, "I just want all of the children in the world to be safe."

*pop* Michael Jackson appears at her side.
