Default mechanic needed boston(ish) area

I'm a newbie XF owner ('04 red coupe) and I want to line up a person/place who will be able to help me out with my new car...so I can enjoy it to its fullest . what place/people would you suggest, around/or south of Boston? I'm close to Viti Mercedes but have been warned about staying away from dealerships, elsewhere on the XF forum. Does anyone have any experience with Viti? Any other suggestions. I'm also willing to travel a bit for a reliable person/place. Looking forward to becoming part of this group! thanks in advance!

Look for an Independent shop that works on Mercedes.

K.G. Auto Repair (owner Kiril Gayl), 264 S. Broadway, Lawrence, Ma, 01843. He likes and respects my car and has been working on it for 12 years. Honest, expedient, highly skilled and resourceful. Recommend highly. Tell him Jessica sent you!

Great recommendation! Nothing better than an existing XFire Owner letting you know where to take your car. But if that reference isn't available, this website will enable you to search your area via Zip Code to locate an independent M-B repair facility.

I have been using Revolution Automotive Services in Norwood, MA. They have mechanics who previously worked at Mercedes dealerships. Was great to hear a "yes we know your car and want to work on it" vs the "we only have 1 person certified on those things" I was getting from the Chrysler dealerships.
