Kids don't try this at Blackxfire's party
ROCKVILLE, Md. - A local man was killed by his own car Thursday morning in Montgomery County.
Police say 45-year-old Ira Kay backed his Chrysler Crossfire out of the right-hand side of his garage around 7:30 a.m. After backing out, Kay stopped the Chrysler next to a Chevrolet Malibu parked on the left-hand side of the driveway.
Police say he apparently failed to put the car in park, and then got out of the vehicle. The car began to move forward and Kaye became trapped. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
There was no evidence of foul play.
