Default We have Auto Delay wipers?

Ok guys, here's a new one on me. Driving in the rain yesterday. This is the first time I have ever seen this. I had the wipers on full-time, slow speed (position II). When I stopped at the traffic lights the wipers went into a delayed sweeping. When I sped up again they returned to normal full-time sweeping. This happened at every stop. The first time they stopped I thought they had malfunctioned and I was thinking "it's gonna be a great ride home without any wipers". Does anyone else get this? I didn't think we had speed sensitive wipers. I'll have to read the manual. I have to say I kinda liked it.

Yes we do have speed sensitive wipers, I noticed that when I first drove in the rain, I forgot all about that being that the car has been out just 2 times in the rain.

Crispy,
I have driven in the rain plenty of times before and never saw this feature come on. Maybe I was too quick to move the switch back to delay. maybe I was just never in the right circumstances before. Such as, driving in the rain and having a route that involved traffic lights.

Yes it is a very cool feature, also when you have them on intermitant the delay is extended when you are stopped.

Sweet! This is my new knowledge of the day

I had wondered why I only had delay, with no speed setting. They just made the car do the work.
