Default New to the forum.

Greetings to all, I am Scott Selman and am the proud owner of a "new to me" SRT6 Roadster. I have yet to take possession of the vehicle because I bought it on Phoenix CL and have to ship it to Kona, HI. I know very little about these automobiles but they just really grabbed my attention once I stared to closely at them. I am super excited to take possession of this automobile. I was actually looking at the Pontiac Solstice but a few days ago I was at Starbucks and a fellow drove up in a Crossfire Roadster and sat down next to me. I asked him how he liked his car and he pretty much sold me right then and there with his info, description, and excitement about it! So I looked more closely, did a little research, and now I own one! Thank you for allowing me the opportunity to participate here.

Welcome, Scott! You're gonna love your Crossfire. I'e driven a lot of cars in my life but the Crossfire is the most fun. This forum is great for answering questions you may have once you get your car. What colour?

Hi to everyone. Pat from No CA. New to forum and a new xfile owner. 2008 red hatchback. Not sure where to ask a rattle question....after driving 15 mins when I accerate I hear a rear rattle. I was convinced it was the muffler, had it checked out and all is good.

Sounds like it's under where air tire well is. Everything there in tact. When I lift off the gas pedal the rattle stops. Any thoughts??

Appreciate any help.
Pat

I seen your car for sale online in AZ. I bought a SRT6 couple instead this week. Good luck! I love mine.

See if it's the rear hatch rattling, they tend to do that. If so they wrap tape around the catch, adjust the stops and it is cured.

If old Tommy Boy drove a Daytona (even with its V12) I'd still put my money on the SRT. But since he drove a mid-engined V8 powered 308 Ferrari, I'd still bet on the SRT.
