Just repaired the oil leak from the valve covers, 2 hours not hard at all just busy work. When I think valve covers I think old 350 chevy valve covers, not sure what the hell those 2 small things were!!?

The are the Mercedes equivalent of a PCV valve.
There is no valve, just a tiny hole, one reason that we use synthetic oil, can you imagine how long those holes would remain open with old Havoline 30 wt ?

Next up oil change, air filters, cabin filter, clean wax, led tail lights, matte black 8" stripe from front to back, new center caps with AMG logos from ebay, new floormats. Nice long weekend to do all this stuff. Forgot 303 top cleaner/sealer also.

The valve covers do develop a leak sometimes. A lot of owners have needed to do this repair. But those crankcase breather covers mounted on top of the valve covers develop oil leaks much easier. Only seal is an RTV-like sealant by factory and the technique & assembly by factory was low quality. Add to that the aluminum screws used to fasten the crankcase breather covers to the valve covers require torque just above "finger tight". And the aluminum screws are also a 1x use & then discard. As previously stated, just a fancy PCV system.

Easiest oil change ever, used the oil extractor for my boat sucked out 8.5 quarts, installed new filter and oil and never bent over.

Ditto! For about 6 months, or more, I have the top up and the A/C ON. Have had a sunburned head so hats are sometimes necessary, LOL! I have used Scotch Guard on the (clean) top (sparingly, according to the directions), with no negative results.
Rain has been rather rare here for a number of years and now that she is a "garage queen" she will stay dry most of the time.
