New member from Lynnwood WA
Been driving a 05 roadster for a few years now and finally a few issue came up
what I have i think is a crankshaft position sensor problem
the key would turn and the car would chig chig chig but wont start, i did the rcm fix, change the battery.
I ordered a new crankshaft already, the shop wants about $200 to install.
I rather learn how to do it and learn how to take care of my car.
is there any member around the area willing to show me around this crossfire?
I need help.

Here is a PDF file with instructions as to how to replace your CPS
No need to spend $200 I assure you
Many of us here have done this ourselves
Re: New member from Lynnwood WA
Welcome to our Forum and congrats on owning a 2005 Crossfire Roadster. As Valk indicated, replacing the CPS is a fairly routine exercise and many of us have done this not only in a garage or driveway, but on the road somewhere when the CPS gave out. Due to its location on the backside of the motor and the high temp environment it is exposed to, this little sensor will & does eventually require replacing.
Good luck with your repair.
