Default Crossfires Across America Schedule

Hotel info here

While I was hoping to have the tentative schedule I handed out at the Fall Dragon this will have to suffice until this evening when I can get it off the wife's PC. (she's still sleeping while I've been up a while and already painted a door and frame prior to showering and heading to work and no I won't paint for you)

Having looked at the reservations that are being made starting the 22nd, I felt it necessary to get this out there ASAP.

We are planning on having a 7am meet and greet breakfast prior to starting some some drives for the day. There are also plans to have a farewell dinner on the evening of the 24th. Considering these two things, some of you who have already made reservation may want to change your plans; others may want to plan accordingly.

We do not have the costs nailed down as yet because we are trying to keep them reasonable while maintaining convenience by having it at the hotel vice 5 miles away. The GCG planning group is holding a meeting this Thursday to make some decisions on the the activities being planned.

Sorry if this has or will cause any burdens on you fine folks.

Ok folks, here is what we definitely have planned with the exception of the times being tentative depending on group size. Other activities are still pending finalization.

Second Installment - Downtown St. Louis Sightseeing (Thursday 24 Jun)

As I previously stated, we looked into parking but feel with the potential size of the group it will be very hard to park close enough for the venues as a group. By the time you pay for parking and fight the rush hour traffic, we thought bus transportation would be best. If we don't have at least 35 people for this trip, we will need to alter the trip without bus service.

NOTICE TO ALL PROCRASTINATORS
- yes we've had some up to today.

Our various activity vendors have been very accommodating but this is the zero hour.

If you want to do any of these activities, you absolutely must have your form submitted and PayPal processed by 0900 / 9:00am Central Daylight Savings Time.

Please note, you must follow the directions on submission via email. Given we are beyond the deadline by many days, I am not guaranteeing anything but we will do our best to process everything prior to our going to bed 10:00 - 11:00 (you know the time zone).

Very Important: If you don't have a PayPal account already set up, you are more than likely out of luck giving their verification process; especially if setting up a bank/checking method. Otherwise the only way I see it possible is to have someone who does, do it for you.

You might want to have a bottle of Woodford Reserve Bourbon handy as a gift to that person...
(I found that to be pretty good stuff when we were at their distillery this past weekend; should have bought one but only so much room in my XF as we were attending a wedding.)

I just got the car show awards in the mail from the CICCI club store.
These are some very nice awards and reference CAA on them so I encourage everyone to plan on coming out to the track on Wednesday night for the car show and maybe you will win a 1rst, 2nd or 3rd place award from CICCI.

Similar to other meets, we are planning to have the group photo at the Gateway Raceway on Wed. I recommend everybody head to the track after our drives and get in the picture. Just to remind you, the only fee will be if you decide to run the track.
