Ok, I should be all signed up for the dyno/custom tune. I'm counting on you guys to help me beat Franc at the drag strip.

A fence won't hold me back.

Besides, I am already handicapped with my busted up leg.
The ankle and foot are a mess yet. Still can't toe/heel the double clutch right.

Itsky may have a shot, once!

Mine will have to be done on Monday as I am one of the key organizers for this event.

As I’ve previously posted, I was planning to drop mine off in the morning. But must have it back by 3:00 pm to meet up with those arriving etc. I can be there as early as you like.

You have ERZER and Me as reserving dyno tunes.

I have gaurrenteed 10. So if Doc and Wedge come in for tunes, I'm off the hook.

Dropped it off this morning and took Jake for a quick ride so he could see how I drive...had to admit I'm nothing like Franc or Shark067

Still I'm looking forward to picking up later today and seeing what it can do. Wish I could spend the day there, but the oldest is closing and partially moving in.

See some of you later today and tomorrow at breakfast.

TODAY
Many of us went to Franc Rauscher's place of buisness where Eurocharged is tuning a lot of Crossfires yesterday and today.

He provided a great lunch with burgers and brats and COLD drinks.
We also had a few shady spots to wash the cars at the shop.

Pics taken but not yet uploaded.
I'm using the wifes laptop so might not post any pics untl I return home.

The eurocharged gents found 3o more horses and a bunch more torque and fixed my air fuel mixture. The srt is now crazy quick. When they email the Dyno results I'll hang em here.

Glad to hear that Wedge. 30 MORE hp is a big bonus and it showed in your track runs last nite. Glad you are happy.

I got a tune from another company that didn't do much more than raise the redline. I really could not feel any difference other than the higher shift point.

The Eurocharged guys offered to "see what they could do" and if I wasn't satisfied, they would set it back to the other tune.

My SRT has NO engine mods and they "found" another 15 HP (over the other tune), but the most surprising thing (even to them) was the 35+ extra ft lbs of torque.

Could I feel the love of this tune? Can you feel me grinning and smell the burnt rubber?

Jake and Jerry were right on schedule. I requested Tues Afternon and when our convoy arrived from Harrah's, I only had to wait for two cars ahead of me to be tuned. The first two attempts on the dyno were not satifactory to J&J and the supercharger was overheating. The engine cover was removed (ha ha joke) and after a cool down period and some head scratching, they ran it again and came away smiling. Jake came away smiling and told me they had pinched 38 rwhp and (?) torque. He was satisified. Jerry then jumped the car off the rollers and I mean jumped it (he looked shocked, then smiled), Jake then drove the car to the garage doors but kept on going down the ramp and around the corner. He walked back in a minute or two later and handed me the key, said take it for a test drive. I did, and came back in and asked where I could change my depends.
Only non stock items on the car are Magnaflow mufflers, and dual pipes from the rear cats back, and a sprint booster.and K&N air filters. Coming back, I was boxed out of the convoy lane and clear ahead, so I decided to punch it and get ahead. I looked at the speedo and it hit 100mph in a blink, backed her way off and cruised on in to Harrahs in respectable fashion. The trip home was smooth and uneventful until just south of Ft Worth. Cloudburst rain, 25' visibility and a frisky Roteweiler with Greyhound bloodlines, kept wanting to wag the tail until I surrendered and pulled over. Happened two or three more times before I got home, and thought I was on a surfboard a few times too.
Well satisified with the tune, I even got my engine cover back from Franc at the going away dinner, thanks Franc, (ha ha on Jake). I talked to Jerry the other day and he is in Houston awaiting the Dyno. The Chicago office is closed and Jake has the computer. He is the only one that can recreate the runs, so it would be nice to get a WAG on when we mighjt expect the printouts emailed. Beaner says he has been waiting since May for his.
Sorry I didn't know about the problem earlier, I could have shot the runs with my handicam.

Franc, you out done yourself son, was a great event and hope you got some of your non-taxable expenditures back.

Downloading pictures to my gallery

At the "tasting" Everyone was saying "Grace". Grace, GRACE, hurry up and pour. Grace was the wine dispenser. Very good, some of them. Eeric's weekender from Motel 6

You are so welcome John. And I do get it back everytime someone, like you, tells me how happy they are with their tunes. Same goes for the track event.

We spent a small sum on our friends. No complaints here.
Worth every penny.

Crap, I am new and just saw this event!!! I want to go and have my car tuned, but I wanted to get a pulley first! Anyone have a c3 pully I could borrow for a Dyno? LOL I know nobody knows me well enough for that. It just sucks that this happened when I just got the new srt. Are reflashes free with mods added later if I pay dyno costs? I will jump in my car if so!!!! Let me know. I will throw in a new set of plugs and be there. I owe Doc a beer for his advise anyway and it would be good to meet a few new owners!!!

Franc, The wife and I had a great time at the track, never in my life thought I'd ever do that. My wife took a little video to prove I did though. Thanks very much for everything, Larry & Midge

The CAA event happened in June. Sorry you missed it. Hope to see you next year (or in 2012) in Denver.
