I put the name of the place and the actual address and I can't come up with a location on my GPS mapping program. Trying to figure out driving time/distance before I make a commitment.

James

PS, I found it manually like their map shows on the website. 220 miles, 3.5 hrs drive. I will think about it.

yes that is a drive, it's 152 miles and 2.5 hrs from here, but it is a pretty drive. I understand if you don't want to do it, but it would be good to meet up.
It's quite a ways from one end of the state to the other isn't it ?

Thanks Rick! I'd love to come, but it's going to depend on whether I get caught up on my school work or not. Sunday is usually my school work day, so I'd say there's a small chance for me.

West Lafayette is a bit of a haul from here. I'll have to check with Sue to see if she thinks we can make the trip. We were just in Millersburg last week for our anniversary and I have to agree that Central Ohio is beautiful this time of year. Sue's mom Marge is originally from West Lafayette, so I've visited there before, but was not aware of the winery. I suppose if James can drive up from Cincy and you guys from Andover, we should be able to make the trip from Macedonia. I'll let you know ASAP.

Hello to all!

I'm currently touring through West Virginia and Pennsylvania for the next couple of weeks on business (duty calls). Sorry we'll be missing the meet. Thanks for the invite and have a GREAT time.

Seems like that darn duty always calls at the worst times we'll miss seeing you guys, but maybe next time.

I talked with the boss (aka Sue) and she said that we're in for Sunday. Let me know when and we'll be there.

As much as I would like to make it, I think we will pass. That is a long way for a few hours of GTG.

Have a great time. James

Since it is a pretty familiar landmark, let's figure on meeting at Summit Racing about 9:30 and heading down from there.
I did call and make reservations for 8 at 11:30 so if anyone else wants to go let me know and I can revise them.

Yes it is a long way for brunch. But, I am sure we will meet up elsewhere in the future. Thanks for considering it

That should give us plenty of time. According to Streets & Trips, it should only take an hour and 15 minutes to get from there to brunch. I just hope I can avoid the curb that jumped out in front of me the last time we met at Summit.

As per our request and out of respect for the Crossfire, they moved that curb back 6" so you should be OK
And since your mother-in-law is from the area if there are any unique local sights we might be interested in please feel free to pass along any suggestions for our "Sunday Drive"

We could always head over to Coshocton. They have a restored canal boat as well as Roscoe Village. And I might suggest that we avoid coming back on the interstate. There are way too many interesting (aka twisty) state routes that will can use when heading home. The possibilities are endless.

Yes there are a lot of good roads down there and pretty country to see, we are looking forward to the day
It's still not too late if anyone wants to join us you are more than welcome. I'd be more than happy to call the winery and tell them to save places for another 10 or 12 people

Sorry fellas. I'm not gonna make it. I've got to finish a midterm tomorrow, write a paper, take a quiz, do some homework, and do a lab. Somewhere in there, I'll hop in the Crossfire and run out to grab something to eat. I'll be thinking of you guys!

Have fun!

Ditto to what the others said, Tom.

I suppose that I had better stop for gas before Tallmadge now.
