Default Grandpa's new toy

Convinced Gramma that it's for the Grandkids, but I am thinking it's going to be a blast I know I should grow up I just can't seem to.

Very cool! You must live in the country or have some land (duh, I see the tractor). I'd like to have one but they aren't street legal.

Oh heck, go ahead and get one. Some 7 year old has been driving one around an E. Cleveland neighborhood for over 2 years and the Police finally caught him a couple of weeks ago.
I say GO for it.

We had one when the boys were little and ran the wheels off of it. I am firm believer in getting kids started young with anything they can steer, go carts, lawnmowers, tractors, any experience they get goes a long way in making them better drivers when they hit the road. Besides we had a blast and we will again because you know my 29 and 27 year old sons will be just as excited as I am.
And now that you mention it Tony, If Tom 2112 gets his trailer hitch figured out we could all put it thru the paces at Carlisle
And sorry +fireamx, not looking to adopt, I'm thinkig you would be pretty "high maintanence"

Yeh, he's a kid! Boy wouldn't I look stupid trying to get out of that with a cop. I'd have a better chance in the xfire.

Yeah you're right, that would be pretty hard to explain wouldn't it. I saw it on the news about how the cops followed this kid back to his house and they gave both him and his dad a ticket. The news jumped all over it of course. They had the mother holding her son and saying that the police traumatized her poor baby so much that he couldn't sleep, and missed school the next day because he was afraid he was going to be sent to jail.
Well the cops tore up the ticket they gave to the kid, so I'm sure he really learned a lesson from the whole ordeal.

Now that looks like fun! Throw on some wide tires if you can and be sure to wear a helmet gramps! My grandaughter loves driving in my SRT-6 and at age 2 she always yells WEEEEEEEEE when I step on the gas! I'll have to get me a little side toy like yours someday! Good luck playing a lot!

Looks like my dad's go-kart. He is of similar mindset with the grandkid as well. He has my near 4 y/o nephew on the lawmower helping him steer/ride along. Has a go kart, numerous power wheels, and pedal powered cars. My nephew loves it and does suprisingly well on the power wheels. He is still too young for the go-kart or mower by himself ;-). If its like my dad's go kart becareful, his is a belt drive system. The belt tends to slip which causes the belt to burn. The belt is hard to locate and somewhat expensive for being such a small belt. Enjoy your rides.

I am DEFINITELY coming to visit you and Peggy now.

Plus I need someone to help me install my manifolds, you interested Rick?

We can also do some beer-can research on that trailer hitch.

Any time at all, and yes I'd be more than happy to help with the manifolds and the beer-can research, probably best to do in that order, the manifolds before the beer
