Nice!

That actually makes that little school bus looking thing halve way presentable!

Good use of an X-Fire hood to make doors

Funny thing is all the "Fords" are really Volvos. The Fusion is based off the S60. This Flex is built off the XC90 platform. The most flagrant example is the new Taurus. Get a picture of it and compare to an S80...

I'd rather push a Dodge...then drive a Ford! =)

I remember looking at that about 2 years ago while in Oakville looking at the framer car.

Those grooves are way deeper and wider than they appear in that picture though.

Wrong, the Fusion (and Mercury Milan, and Lincoln MKZ) share a modified CD3 platform with the first generation Mazda 6.

Flex is not on the XC 90 platform, the 500 (Taurus, Sable, Montego), Freestyle (Taurus X), Lincoln MKS, Flex and Lincoln MKT share a modified version of the first generation Volvo S80 platform.

I don't wanna win anything! (unless it's a brand new shiny SRT6 Roadster!)

Besides....I didn't post anything about it.......something about confidentiality and non-disclosure agreements.

In other words Steve, you could have told us, but then you would have to kill us.

About that brand new SRT6 Roadster, do you think there's actually any left out there?

In a word..........no.

But I will gladly accept a SL65 AMG Black Series as a substitute!

The flex is suprisingly nice. I haven't driven in one, but I was impressed when I sat in one at the dealership. I like the low stance, and I like the styling. Too big for my application though.

Car & Driver & motor trend both gave the Dodge Journey a better rating than the Flex. I like the shape of the Flex better than the Journey but the Journey is a better vehicle.

That's because they haunt your every sleeping moment "take use back, free us from the bondo"
Your a brave man, just talking about catching flak opens the whole subject up!

Really? I didn't see that one. That surprises me becasue the Journey is a horrible car, I'd take a 5 year old Pacifica over one any day. The Journey was a large step backward from that car.
