Re: FS: EC 62mm S/C Pulley
For starters, I'm (purposefully) unemployed and 2-cars is more of a luxury, not a necessity. So I decided I'd downsize and clean out a lot of "stuff". I had a lot of fun with this car, and it will be missed. I'll probably drive it around a little after I remove the mods, but then it'll go up for sale...

Re: FS: EC 62mm S/C Pulley
This EC 62 uses the same NGK bearing as all the others: stock and 65. It's the 32BD45. I think the only one that is different is the Karrman.
Re: FS: EC 62mm S/C Pulley
What is the actual OD of this pulley?
If it is 62 mm (2.440") 65 mm is 2.56" diameter
Lets do some simple arithmetic here, Pulley OD is 62 mm you say, depth of grooves are 3.5 mm.
62 - 2 x 3.5 = 55 mm = OEM pulley diameter.
What am I missing?

Re: FS: EC 62mm S/C Pulley
They went to steel on the 65 and definitely still make the 61.9 (62, whatever). Can't remember if it is steel or aluminum though.

onehundred80.....Its not really an of my business, but I'm thinking - if someone is trying to sell something, neg. posts are not very gentlemanly unless its advertised with false and/or misleading information...."Caveat Emptor"

Re: FS: EC 62mm S/C Pulley
These early pulleys were often replaced because of poor quality, later Code 3 pulleys were good, maybe the best yet.
The seller also has another pulley for sale, a 64mm, and says that it shows normal wear on the clutch, this is wrong as there is no wear shown from the halfway point in.
I was the first to answer you on the bearing size you needed, my answer was confirmed in your later general request to the forum. I have been on this forum for over eleven years, and a member for just under eleven years. In that time I have seen a lot and made notes of much of it. I have seen rubbish sold and the grief and cost it has been to members here. This rubbish is often forgiven by some members because they say at least that company is making parts for the car, but I think that if someone is making parts it is because they want to make money and it is not out of the goodness of their hearts.
If I can be bothered I might look up the history of these particular pullies.
Re: FS: EC 62mm S/C Pulley
I am talking about the one in the ad by the same seller, there should be abrasion marks where it is shiny. It should be flat on that face and show similar marks as on the outside. Even the one in this thread does not show much wear toward the center,, may be it is the magnet on his SC that is not flat, I really could not say.
