Thanks for posting the photos. I love seeing pictures of Crossfires at the track. Any type of track. So how did you do?

The event was the first round of an SCCA Divisional series with racing on both sat and sun. There were 10 drivers in my class and I placed 4th which was better than I expected. This was only my second event on Hoosier A6's. These tires are wicked cool to autocross on. Thanks for asking

A great example of how much grip the tires have. This picture was taken at the 2008 Washington DC Prosolo.

Why does that SRT 6 have limited wheels? Are those lighter or better in any way?

The Limited wheels are cast and the SRT wheels are forged. All other things being equal as in same dia. and width. etc...cast wheels are heavier than the forged type. The less unsprung weight the better.

While that is normally true I have seen both SRT and Limited wheels on the same scale on the same day and the SRT wheels were ever so slightly heavier than the Limited wheels. Both are complete boat anchors either way. We dropped close to 40 lbs of rotating mass by going to the lighter wheels.

I love that pic solo. I can't quite tell for sure, but is the back tire off the ground too? Wow!

The limited wheels on my SRT6 came from a friends crossfire.
He wasn't using them so he's letting me use them. Yes, they're heavy, but the price and timing couldn't have been better. I was able to win the 09 championship series because I had them to mount NoCones' Hoosier A6's on
