Well I decided to go to the track last night, first round 60 foot was a 1.68, at 11.0,
then I put The car in first gear and tried it again and again, again came up with 11.0 & 11.1
.They kind of made some changes at the track,, on test and tune you three classes, one is for slicks,, one is for street tires, and the last one is for drag radials. It was 85° tonight, and I was doing this on 93 octane from racetrack gas station.
For the first three hours I was the only car with drag radials. Finally a Corvette showed up, that was Supercharged and nitrous,,so I figured finally about to get a good run,
We lined up to gather,I got a very good burnout we lined up. I put it in drive this time, set the RPM about 900 to 1000, once the light started to come down, when that that third yellow lit up I let it go,,I pulled away From the Corvette so fast, I thought maybe either his nitrous didn't come in or maybe he broke something,on the way back to the pits, I stop and pick up my time slip,, it's dark I can't see good enough to read the time slip, but I could see the 11.7,And thought that was my time. I kinda went oh shi** I slowed down,I got back to the pits, got the jacks out jacked up the car,and was putting my street tires back on, one might ran as it went to the track with me came up, and said I didn't get to see you run, what did you run,,I said I don't really know I couldn't see the time slip,, I reached in the car and handed it to one of the guys, and he said holly sh** you know you ran 10 .8, gimme that slip let me see,, by this time there must've been half a dozen people around the car, I couldn't get anything done from answering questions,
and conclusions I did it, 10.855 @ 128.79 here is the time slip jim
Note: now the only black V8 crossfire in the world
now the fastest crossfire in the world,
then I put The car in first gear and tried it again and again, again came up with 11.0 & 11.1

I got the email notification from drag times and was waiting for you to post the details. I'm so happy that you got your 10's. Not only 10's but pretty deep into them. All the hard work and persistence paid off with the No. 1 position on drag times. JIM'S NO. 1! 3 CHEERS FOR JIM!! Way to go!

Congrats on getting that bad boy into the 10's. I think it's got a lot more in it, so I'll be waiting for a Dragtimes update of a 10.6 when it cools down outside.
By the way, I designed you an apron for the next time you're outside grilling.
