Re: Newest member of the 11s club!
Congrats Chuk. I noticed in the Vid of your new PB run that there is a fair bit of condensation emitting from your exhaust tips after the burnout while sitting at the line. Was your car 'almost cold'? Could this be the reason for the great time....no heat soak?
Re: Newest member of the 11s club!
Good eye! I shut down after every run and lift the hood to 90 to let all the heat out ASAP. From there I push the car all the way back through the staging lanes until I'm two cars out. That's where I restart the motor and have never had serious heat soak issues.

Well, I pulled the trigger on the wheel/tire combo I've wanted since 2012. Mercedes Toliman wheels (12-13 lbs. ea) with MT ET Street tires. The wheels actually belonged to Jim at one point, go figure! Now it's time to see how far into the 11s we can go before I can convince Kim nitrous can be done safely and in moderation.
Re: Newest member of the 11s club!
16psi will do it but i think you will only get a little better 60' because YOU my friend have a world's record on street tires,,, you don't need nitrus ,,,You are going to be the fastest srt6 (V6) without nitrus good luck jim
p.s. after my treatment, late March or early April,, i will come up to Orlando Speed World
and we can go play.

Look at my MySlips.com page and you'll see it's been because of practice. It's taken over 100 runs for me to get everything down to a routine. I guarantee you would make me look foolish on a road course! But it's nice to know our best 1/4 times are so close (same actually) with such a difference in mods.
