Hardware Upgrade -
01-21-2007
, 08:52 PM
This past week the amount of RAM on the server was significantly increased. I have noticed the site performing better, but I just want to know if everyone else was seeing the same thing. While the site wasn't particularly slow before, it seems to me that it is currently much snappier. Comments? I want to see if the upgrade was noticeable, as it increases the monthly hosting costs.

Much better response, thank you. Funny that you don't really notice the lag until something quicker comes along.

And the very significant increase in PM storage is appreciated, too. Thanks.

New to the site seems to be working Fine.
I wanted to add a posting can't figure out how. I had my 2005 Roaster at Wollenweber Motors, Harrison Ave Cincinnati Oh this morning. They have a 2008 blue roaster limited (new) in their showroom.Anyone looking the price was just short of 29,000.
Thanks and tell me where to look to add postings.
Thanks
Doug

I love it when these old posts come back and folks respond as if it's recent news.
As I was reading down the posts I thought to myself, ya know, the site does seem faster lately.
Doh! Improvements were made two years ago! LOL
Also was pleasantly surprised to see that the mightyjlr had posted only to realize once again, two years ago!

Even though this post is 2 yrs old I'll still post a "thank you" to mightjlr for making this site possible.
Keep in mind that this site is fast and free, think about that for a second.
