Re: Traveling CrossfireForum Bears...
I have to apologize to all here. Last Saturday, I was suddenly called out of town on a family emergency (all is now well, thank you). I got home last night.
Unfortunately, I haven't had a chance to take Cross and Fire around yet. I promise to show them the town asap. Sadly, the weather has just turned very un-Florida-like, lots of rain and a serious cold front coming through bring lows in the 40's. Not much for beach weather, even for a bear.
Again, I apologize for the delay and promise to send them forth on their continuing journey by Tuesday or Wednesday.

Re: Traveling CrossfireForum Bears...
Well, after having to put in extra hours at work to make up for time lost, I expect to have a bit of free time tomorrow afternoon to show Cross and Fire around town.
The bad news is that the temperature is dropping like a stone. It going to get down to the lower 40's tonight and mid-60's during the day tomorrow. For Florida, that's cold.
Though a trip to the beach is unlikely, I'll do my best to show them the sights.

Just curious.......did we ever hammer out an order of travel for the bears.....or is everyone in agreement with my (half drunk) assessment of the list....post #187?
Gary....maybe we could have a list that is global and a sticky, only to be changed by moderators/administrators? Just a thought, might get more people interested?
BTW.....I have mentioned the Crossfireforum.org bears to a Vice president at Chrysler........she thought it was a great idea and volunteered to show them around the inner workings of the Auburn Hills headquarters. Hopefully a pic in the big conference room where the pentastar is in the top of the tower!

Re: Traveling CrossfireForum Bears...
As you can see, today was a good day for enjoying the Florida sun, albeit a bit on the cool side. No babes to hold the bears on the beach, but still, it was a nice day to go to the famed Palm Beach shoreline. Fire insisted on a trip down Worth Avenue, Palm Beach's version of Rodeo Drive. Then we went off to the intercoastal waterway looking out on some very expensive real estate.
