Crossfires in Carolinas & Georgia
Re: Crossfires in Carolinas & Georgia
I was about to get out of a parking lot at Pep Boys Cherry Rd, in Rock Hill when I saw another SSB Crossfire pulled in! I was in my SSB SRT so I drove to where he parked and we chatted. This is Jeremy of York, who just bought his 05 Crossfire Limited, a few days ago? but already detailed it.
So exciting to have met you and your dad and brother, last time I met another Crossfire was like 7 weeks ago!!! His dad has a SRT-8 Challenger in metallic green, must be something to see, but he was on his bike when we met. Really great to have met you and hope if you see this to please join us here, lots of great folks like you here! We should have a great local York Chester Ft Mill GTG - and do come to the Fall 2012 Dragon October 5,6,7 – 2012 - guaranteed you will love it!
See my sig below for pictures of the 04 Black Coupe I told you.

I would like to let everyone know about a new monthly car meet, this occurs on the first Saturday of EVERY MONTH at Waverly Place Cary, NC 27518.This is held in the parking lot at the rear of the Waverly Place shopping mall. This is a general sports car meeting and is open to all cars. This would be a good opportunity for fellow Crossfire owners to meet and chat about our cars. The meet is from about 8am to midday. Lets have a good turn out for August Saturday 4th

Now that is about as rare as Halley's Comet! I still haven't seen another one outside of a dealer...
Re: Crossfires in Carolinas & Georgia
Thought I would try generating some interest AGAIN in getting us together for a social event in Upstate SC. Thought we could do a "Crossfires & Coffee" one weekend in June to kick things off. The first weekend I've already got something booked, but any other weekend is good for me. For those in the Upstate, look at your calendars and let me know a preferred SAT or SUN to GTG. Also provide any recommendations on a location for coffee/breakfast.
Later,

Dennis, Linda and I drove up to the intersection of Hw 14 and Hwy 11 in the SC foothills. The resturant is called the Junction and I am told they serve a great breakfast. The sign said open 7-11 M-S. The have a nice gravel over flow parking area in the back where we can meet.
Glassy Mountain, the Poinsett bridge (built by the British in the 1700"s) and the mountain roads of the Greenville water shead are close by for thoes who would like to do some driving after the meet. The NC mountain road 276 is a bit farther but with in reach for a ride to Ceasars Head and Brevard.
We could arrive between 9:30 and 10:00, eat and then meet in the parking area in the rear.
Jeff (fastfunfor2) knows the water shead roads well. It would be nice if he could lead an aggressive group. No speed for me as I am now in a full hard cast but I would love to go with a senic group( thanks Jonathan).
Some one check the calendar and suggest a Staurday to have a great time if you like this idea.

Re: Crossfires in Carolinas & Georgia
Dennis I think we should meet between 9:30 and 10:00. If we get more people coming that would give others more time to get there. I called Allen and alerted him but have not heard from them. Maybe a call from you would help. I will call Howard Cater as well. He is in Kingsport TN and may make the drive. I will try Jeff (fastfunfor2) again.
Shawn why don't you invite your friend with the 63 AMG. He will surely be welcome. Thanks, Jim
