Met at Villiages (more like The Metroplex, stretches clear from US27 to US301 now, about seven miles of gated communities & golf courses. Was 10 minutes early when GPS had me going in circles - when saw San Pedro Drive for the third time, found a human to ask.
Based on what I saw on the forum I expected 2 or 3 cars but one whole aisle at Two Jays restaurant was full and the demographcs was a good indicator of why we were going to Silver Springs to ride the Glass Bottom boats and not the Don Garlits Museum of Drag Racing.
I had to leave right after the boat ride to sell my RV but suspect the full cruise was an experience. Looking forward to Daytona.

The Villages is actually more than 15 miles from north to south. It is not a gated community. There are now more than 110,000 residents and growing. Check there web site. WWW.thevillages.com
