OK... The SB Chronicles continue here in East Tennessee...

Someone, somewhere here mentioned a possible SB effect on mileage, so thought I'd check. ...Had to make a run down to Chattanooga and back today... About 240 miles round trip via mainly interstate... Ran about 85-95 down and about 75-80 back... My mileage was 30 MPG! Maybe that is normal (?), but I have NEVER gotten better than about 25 mpg on the road and c. 18-20 around town. I have always attributed it to my lead foot, as I just can't seem to avoid pushin' it at every opportunity...

I have absolutely no idea why this device would make a difference in this area, but I will try and check it around town which is where I spend most of my driving time...

I routinely hit 30 on long highway trips as well. My best ever recorded mileage was 30.8 mpg.

I heard back from Boulekos Dynamic and if any of yall have an interest let me know, this was their response...

Dear Mr Werner,

I would like to know the exact quantity of the Sprint Boosters you are willing to purchase so i can provide you a ''quantity price''.

Also i need to know the exact quantity so i can calculate the shipping costs and custom brokerage fees.

At the moment we don't have a US distributor.

Best Regards,

Stamatis Boulekos

I am definitely interested, depending on the final cost. Are you going to compile a list here on the forum, through PMs/eMails, or how? Thanks, Dan.

Whatever works, I think we need to give him some idea of quantity to get a price so whatever is the easiest way to compile and keep a list will work for me. If someone has done it before let me know in the open forum - PM or email rowdy00@aol.com.
I have had really one complaint (and kept it to myself) about my car and it is slow throttle response and I believe this will correct the issue so lets find out who else wants one and how we will manage the fund and get some ordered. The first step is how many we will order to get the price.
Question 1 - how many?

If anybody has connections to the 320SLK folks on the M-B forum, that could provide more buyers! Why didn't somebody do this before I ordered at full price? ...Actually, glad I did it- great product - even at full price...

Now there is one concern to worry about, there is an old version that was thought by some to be "too aggressive" and very sensitive for the higher hp cars like the CLK55 AMG, C32 AMG, CLS55 AMG, and including the SLK32 AMG (SRT-6). Now there is a 2nd version, which is a little more tame, but will still bring more responsiveness than a regular DBW reset. IMO, I believe it is a must for the non-supercharged xfires to have the older version. For those of you who have an SRT-6, it is up to you.

There might be a few on the MB interested, they are unsure if their engines are the same as ours and if the booster will work on theirs. There is a lot of great info on their site and if you are interested here is a link to the booster thread...

If anyone does know about the 2 versions of sprintbooster, please let us know. Would the older version be more suitable for the NA version?

Just a thought, maybe we should keep track of transmission type, and I would think 10 may make a difference as I am in the parts business and a order for less than that wouldn't entice me to discount much. I hope he would like 10 to 15 drivers in the US to brag on his product to help him lure someone into a distributorship here.
