Default Installing a N/A wing onto a SRT

Hi,

Have anyone done this before? Installing a N/A wing on a SRT must be possible..
I would like it to be automatic.. extend over 60mph... Please PM me if you are interested in maybe changing your N/A wing and motor etc. to my SRT wing. (Have not purchased the car yet but I will and need to know if this is possible)

I believe a few members have done so with success. You would have to swap out your SRT6 trunk/deck lid and spoiler for their N/A trunk/deck lid. I am sure you have already figured this out. I have no doubt that someone will take you up on your offer.

You only need to switch out your wing and filler/mounting panel for the wing assy. No need to switch the entire hatch. I am about to try it myself and researched it out.

His SRT would need the entire N/A trunk/deck lid because of the wing motor and in turn to cut down on installation work on the N/A he can just install the entire SRT wing/trunk/deck lid.

Hi,
I am amazed that there is no section about this. Sounds way easier just to switch the wing. But hey, i am no specialist. This have to be done prior my painting though...

In order to have the N/A spoiler actually work, activate and look right you would have to swap out your SRT trunk/deck lid. On the N/A deck lid there is an indented area where the spoiler sits when its not activated, also the spoiler motor sits underneath the deck lid.

Don't forget you'll need the N/A BCM... The SRT BCM doesn't have the programming to deploy the spoiler at a given speed, because the SRT spoiler is always deployed.

According to several sources I've seen, the BCM on the SRT allows a bit more "on the edge" handling since the engineers knew the car had sportier and firmer suspension. So, you may very well cripple your handling ability a bit by switching to the N/A BCM. It's simply a setting that allows just a bit more sideways action before the computer arrests your fun.

Sounds difficult. I tought I could only switch the actual wing, do a bit of wiring and make at least a manual switch....

Default Install a N/A BCM on a SRT

Hi all specialists,

I hope you and your cars are all well. I am on the quest for having a N/A wing on the SRT coupe. Preferably to have it automatically go up and down at the specific speeds.

What will be the most effecient
1. Insert a BCM from a N/A to my SRT
2. Reprogramme the SRT BCM somehow telling it that it should deploy a rear wing..

Carrying out 1, could it have any bad effects on other areas? Is it even possible to have a N/A BCM?
2. Who does the reprogramming?

Thanks for all your comments. I am amazed that no one has ever done this. The one who helps me get this to work may well be getting my SRT rear spoiler, if I get his N/A that is
